At
the age of 2 years old TaQuisha Jolie was enrolled in a local dance
school in South Carolina where she began taking ballet, tap, and jazz
dance lessons.
Around the age of 11, through an audition, TaQuisha became a part of the company team with the dance school she attended and began performing at local events, opening for a variety of shows. As a company member she was taking amore advance training of dance that now included contemporary, lyrical, modern, and hip-hop. By the age 13, again through another audition, TaQuisha Jolie joined her dance schools competition team and began traveling the east coast competing against other technical dancers and performing art schools.
After winning
numerous awards and cash prizes, her family by this time was sending her
to New York City to attend summer workshops at Broadway Dance Center
while school was out. At these summer workshops TaQuisha would intensly
train and take daily dance technique classes under choreographers such
as Savion Glover, Frank Hatchett, Doug Caldwell, Dina Rizzo, Finis
Jhung, and many more. After high school she quickly became captin of her
college dance team at Johnson C Smith University in Charlotte NC,
choreographing and performing at college basketball games, homecoming
shows, pep rallies, step shows, etc…Around the age of 11, through an audition, TaQuisha became a part of the company team with the dance school she attended and began performing at local events, opening for a variety of shows. By the age 13, again through another audition, TaQuisha Jolie joined her dance schools competition team and began traveling the east coast competing against other technical dancers and performing art schools.
After
moving back to South Carolina, TaQuisha Jolie furthered her dance
training at the University of South Carolina while also teaching dance
classes at outreach programs such as The Salvation Army Boys and Girls
Club, Hope Centers, as well as the dance school she once attended. At
age 20 TaQuisha enrolled and shortly attended John Casablanca Acting and
Modeling Agency with a dream of becoming an actress. Along with acting
classes she was required to take a basic modeling class, but because
TaQuisha was not “tall” or “skinny” modeling was something she never
thought she would be able to make a career out of or be successful at.
Continuing to focus more on her acting and dance abilities she began
traveling to different casting calls and performing in local plays.
After helping a friend who was a local rap artis with a music video,
TaQuisha Jolie soon discovered how strong of a love for the camera she
really had. Later she auditioned again and landed a spot in another
artists music video in Columbia SC which then led to a eye catching
photo shoot for the artists new mixtape. Not soon after the
unforgettable photoshoot Jolie was adding Hostess/Event Hostess to her
resume, hosting parties in the Carolina’s and Georgia areas. TaQuisha’s
sexy photo shoots gained a buzz on the streets as well as social
networks having photographers and promoters from New York, Chicago, the
Carolina’s, Georgia, to Miami requesting to work with the new vixen.
TaQuisha Jolie loves to say “Although I may be a rookie, my dancing and
acting background allows me to perform like a veteran” she refuses to
limit herself to only dancing, acting, modeling, or hosting so Ms. Jolie
sets her goal to be the Ultimate Vixen.
“This gift given to me from God steams from pure talent and experience therefore I say
IM TRAINED TO GO!!!”
