Born and raised in Columbia, SC, Bless'd had a nact for making the best of any situation. She began her music career in 2002 after motivation from child hood friends. Bless'd and friends started their first group, Illiance in 2002 and later went on to be part of another rap group called Metro Mafia.
Along-side Lil' Jule and Kamikaze, Metro Mafia signed with an independent label by the name of Crowd Control Entertainment out of Atlanta, GA. Metro Mafia opened up for such acts as Crime Mob and Lil Pete of DSGB. Bless'd eventually began her solo career as an independent artist and founded what we know today as Swamp Life Ent.
After the tragic death of her mother, Bless'd moved back to Columbia, SC to expand on her dreams of a well-known record label. She's had her hopes set of making her late mother proud. The label of 1 has grown to an abundance of talented artists from SC and a swarm of Swamp Life followers (better known as Gators) nationwide.
Swamp Life's lineup includes such names as Jazmine Phoenix, Kenzo, and Tony Cash. The label is consistently expanding, now including graphic design, photography, recording and music production. Following a simple phrase "The Bully Mission", the Swamp Life camp is looking to break all barriers and show no mercy. In the words of Bless'd "The Best is yet to come".
