SCHG Updates

Hello World,
This is FiveTrey blogger and founder of SC HomeGrown bring you updates on our progress. I started SCHG for local artist’s in the Orangeburg or as I call it the T&D region. In short time, I have been reach out to be various artist’s outside the area. Realizing that I’m just not doing it for my area but the whole state body of South Carolina. It all started from a idea in July of 2011 and became official January 2012. Thanks to Phat Fetishes for allowing me to grow with a wonderful promotion and partying team. Learning from a female promoter is a plus. Females are look over and not taken seriously and she has been though what I’m trying to do. I set goals for SCHG and have succeeded them quickly. Meeting new artists, networking with mangers and other promoters has been a crash course. Not really, a lot of people are interested on what a blogger does? Some have made bloggers name bad by gossiping rumors and keep it going. Not us. It’s not just music, models can be showcase because we are trying to establish a SCHG model section and Producers, Photographers, CEO’s, Promotion Groups and all can apply. Also the community is a must. With what I’m facing in my life, I want to prevent other males or females from making mistakes that can ruin their lives.

Now, SCHG has a mixtape coming out late summer in July with various artists from the midlands area of South Carolina. Title “MetBurg” speaks for itself showcasing the talent that is in the Midland area. If you don’t know what I mean or talking about, it’s the 803 area code. We are the heart of the state and I figure I could be the one to push to bridge the gap more than ever before. We have a pipeline but needs to be stronger. South Carolina as a whole is a powerful state. But it looks bad when two of artists is fighting and getting publicity off of it. Hopefully SCHG can unify the state and make us realize we can work together and knock out any other state.
